The NorShor opened in 1910 as the Orpheum, got its Art Deco makeover as the NorShor in the 1940s, and reopened on February 1, 2018 after a long restoration.
The Duluth Economic Development Authority owns it and the Duluth Playhouse runs it, so the calendar is theater-first with concerts mixed in.
