Sacred Heart was built as a cathedral in 1896. After the parish merged in 1985, a nonprofit took over the building the next year and turned it into a concert hall.
It keeps its 1898 Felgemaker pipe organ and has a recording studio. The acoustics suit quiet shows, and it has been a Homegrown Music Festival venue since 2006.
